What is a tasting event?
A tasting event is a guided journey through a selection of wines and ciders in a structured setting. The person conducting the tasting talks you through the nuances of each offering, including a background of how and where they were made, allowing you to experience the differences and similarities between them.
Do I need to know a lot about wine & cider to enjoy a tasting?
Not at all! A tasting is for anyone (of legal drinking age) to enjoy, and is designed to enhance your appreciation rather than test your knowledge. Events are individually tailored to each group, with my focus on conducting an entertaining, engaging, and enjoyable experience that will help you to learn more about your drink of choice - or even lead you to discover a new favourite!
What’s the difference between private and group tastings?
Private tastings are ideal for a group of friends and/or family, closed to the public, and are enjoyed in the comfort of your own home. Group tastings are designed to be enjoyed with a larger number of people, can be public or private, and are ideal as community or corporate events.
